Valentine’s Day Home Decor

Valentine’s is the perfect excuse to bring out all the pretty pink and red decor. I usually decorate for Valentine’s right after Christmas since I always feel like my house looks extra bare after taking down the tree. It’s easy to add some festive decor on a budget by just switching up some colors or a few add on pieces to give your home a different look.

I always find a ton of my seasonal decor at Home Goods, Marshalls and Pier One. You can even check the 99 cent store to purchase things like pink vases, candy, etc. Target always has some good finds too, which is where I purchased a lot of my things this year. Shopping early gets you the best deals and the best selection so I always start shopping early for seasonal decor.

You can add little details to your home by adding in some decorative garlands or styling a seasonal shelf. Pearl & Jane has a ton of fun seasonal garlands and banners to easily dress-up your home. I seriously put them everywhere and they make for the cutest photo props too.

Throw pillows are another easy way to switch up a look on a budget. I have a bag of throw pillows to switch out for different seasons to easily add a different look to my house. I also have a bin of different faux floral stems to change out with my current colors/theme too.

When it comes to center pieces, purchase a big vase and fill it up with different decor each season. For Valentine’s Day, I purchased several bags of sweethearts to fill my vase. For Christmas, I filled it up with pine cones we picked. Cheap and easy!

Another really fun element to seasonal decor is having a bar cart. Even if you don’t want to decorate your whole home, you can just decorate a bar cart to add some color and fun. I purchased three bar carts before I found this one and it’s only $50 on Amazon. It’s so easy to style since there’s only two shelves and we’ve been getting a ton of use out of it!
