Sugary Kiss Cookies

It’s the most wonderful time of the year– and my absolute favorite time of the year for entertaining! Okay so I love entertaining year-round, but there’s just something about entertaining with a theme that gets me so excited!

Ever since Ari was born, we’ve held every holiday at our house and we always have the best time when our family gets together. There’s nothing like spending time together as you enjoy delicious food and treats.  We like to host all of our parties “potluck” style so everyone can bring their favorite dish to the party.

I’ve been experimenting with different recipes and I decided to combine two holiday classic recipes into my own (because I like to be original like that) and it was a total win. Lucky for you, I am not greedy and I decided to share that recipe with you too!

These sugary kiss cookies are a cross between a PB kiss and a classic sugar cookie. Trust me, you will NOT be able to just have one. They have been such a hit and they are the perfect combo of chocolate and sugar– pair with a cocktail and you’ll be in heaven! Cookies and cocktails, the perfect combo for a holiday party with friends!

When it comes to entertaining, I always like to purchase more than I will probably need– because there’s nothing worse than running out of something in the middle of your party. Sam’s Club has a great selection of items that can be used for holiday baking, including a 72 pack of  Pillsbury™ sugar cookies, which is exactly what I used for this recipe.

I served these sugary kiss cookies with some spiked iced tea for the adults at the party and they were a hit. I love using bar carts for entertaining and these cookies even looked pretty displayed! Presentation really is everything when it comes to the holiday.

Now, on to the recipe. It’s simple with minimal ingredients so you can knock these out right before your guests arrive.  They look extra-fancy so your guests would never know how simple it really was to create these
Here’s what you’ll need:

Steps:

  1. Place your sugared cookies 1 inch apart on a greased pan
  2. Sprinkle sugar on top of the cookies
  3. Bake for 9 minutes
  4. When your cookies are freshly out of the oven, place a Hershey’s Kiss on top and push down into the soft cookie
  5. Serve warm
