Stuffing the girls’ Easter baskets

Easter basket ideas

I love Easter and Easter baskets have kind of been my thing since I had Ari. It’s such a fun and colorful holiday and I love shopping for items to put into the girls baskets. I absolutely refuse to put candy in their basket (I know the girls will get some when Easter egg hunting) and I typically go for Spring clothes, new shoes, etc. This year, I’ve put together a list of some fun play clothes to bedtime stories, and of course a teddy to snuggle when reading those stories.

1. J&J clothing– It wasn’t until recently that I was introduced to the brand and I wish I had heard about them sooner. First of all, everything matches. All solids, stripes, etc. and it’s all in the same colors. Major bonus in my book is that my toddler can dress herself!

2. Cuddle and Kind dolls– These adorable bunnies are so soft and for every doll sold, the company donates 10 meals to families in need.

3. Old Navy accessories– Every little girl needs some fun and colorful accessories for their Spring wardrobe!

4. Books– I love books that are inspiring and thoughtful. These books are exactly that. If you are looking to expand your library, Easter is the perfect time to fill a basket with some books.

5. Remie Girl dress– These beautiful flower dresses were just released and they are gorgeous! This flower dress can easily take you from Spring right into Summer.

6. Lush bath bombs– The girls and I are hooked with Lush bath bombs. I made the mistake of allowing them to use one of my about a year ago and it’s been all downhill since then. They used to get bath bombs almost every night but it adds up quickly so we only do them every once in a while now.

7. Saltwaters– My absolute favorite sandals. They are so comfy for kids and wipe clean when dirty. I usually buy 2 or 3 different colors every season. This is a must in the girls’ basket every year.

I love that everything I chose on this list will carry the girls past Easter. It’s not going to be one of those things that they play with and get sick of by the next day. Books last a lifetime and the rest will definitely grow with them over the coming months.
