Disney Junior Fun Fest at Disney Parks and a Sneak Peak at All New Disney Junior Shows

Last Friday we were invited to the first ever Disney Junior Fun Fest at Disney California Adventure. The one-day event celebrated Doc McStuffins turning 10 years old and was filled with music and dancing, targeted specifically towards preschool aged kiddos.

The one-day event was all about celebrating the entertainment and music filled stories of Disney Junior, and brought some of that magic the kids watch on-screen into Disney parks.

The event kicked off with a special parade, which featured all of our favorite Disney characters with fun upbeat music. The parade brought together and encouraged little ones to get up and dance. Plus, it celebrated Disney’s relationship with Make-A-Wish, as Wish children got to ride in the floats and we’re honored throughout the entire event.

While the kids we’re thrilled with the dance parties and sing alongs with their favorite characters, we also were given the opportunity to listen in on the Disney Junior Showcase- which talked all about what’s coming to Disney Junior this year as we got to see glimpse into some of the newest shows.

Disney Junior has a ton of really great shows in the works this year, which are all specifically targeted to preschool-aged children.

Here’s what’s coming to Disney Junior this year

Alice’s Wonderland Bakery is returning to Disney Junior for season 2. The girls were able to participate in a cupcake decorating event at CA Adventure with got them really excited for the new show.

An all new show, Eureka!, is premiering on Disney on June 22nd

Firebuds, another new show coming to Disney Junior, will premier this fall and is all about first responders.

Mickey Mouse Funhouse will air a special pirate themed show, Private Adventures, this August.

Pupstruction is also coming to Disney Junior and the event showcase rolled out the announcement by brining out some of the most adorable puppies to help with the announcement.

Super Kitties is also coming to Disney Plus and Disney Junior, which will feature superhero kitties that come together to fight villains.

Winnie the Pooh short form series is in development and will feature a music based series with Winnie the Pooh. This one had me most excited as it really brought me back to my childhood.

Kindergarten: the Musical will feature an all-new animated series about navigating the first for young kids. It will highlight what it’s like to start school for the first time, finding a spot to sit at the lunch table and share all about making new friends.
