Ever since Arianna was introduced to açaí bowls a few years ago, she can not get enough. It’s her number one requested meal and with all of the nutrients, I can’t complain. When we went to Hawaii a few years ago, she lived off açaí bowls and ever since that trip I started to make them for her at home.
They’re so easy to make and we love to play around with different toppings. I always use an açaí packet as the base of my smoothie and add sort of protein (usually green yogurt), greens and a mix of frozen and fresh fruit.
The secret to blending your smoothie bowl is to use just a little bit of liquid (enough for it to blend) and then add a little bit at a time to increase the consistency. You want your smoothie bowl to be nice and thick, not watery like a smoothie. If you find you added too much liquid, you can always throw in a banana or some ice to try to thicken it up again.
Açaí smoothie bowl recipe🥣:

Almond milk (just enough to blend)

Toppings
Bananas 🍌
Berries 🍓
Chia seeds
Granola Coconut 🥥
Honeycomb 🍯
I use my NutriBullet on high power when blending our smoothie bowls. It makes cleanup so much easier than using a traditional blender and I feel it does the job for what I need. I would note if you are making multiple smoothie bowls, you will likely only get 1-2 servings per batch.
That’s all it takes, as simple as that. I hope you enjoy!
