Seriously Strawberry Breakfast Bagels For the Whole Family

After summer break and an entire year of distance learning, I got really spoiled with waking up late and taking my sweet time to get out of bed. I thought the adjustment back to waking up early and getting the kids back to in-person school was going to be a challenge but surprisingly I seem to be thriving on the changes. The kids have also adjusted so well and they wake up excited to get back to school every morning.

The kids and I have schedules that are all over the place so trying to maintain that is a process in itself. I wake up around 6 a.m. and get ready for the day, get the girls’ lunches together, and get a head start on my e-mails. Ari wakes up around 7 a.m. and we head out for school at 7:30, then I drop off Nati at her school at 9 a.m. I told you… All. Over. The. Place.

The last thing I want to do is complicate my mornings with a complex breakfast that my kids are likely to not even eat (I know because I’ve been there, done that). My mom taught me if it ain’t broke, no need to fix it. So when the kids and I all got hooked on strawberry breakfast bagels, I just started making it a regular part of our morning routine.

I picked up the Tillamook Seriously Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread to add to some bagels and the kids loved it. The spread is a perfect combination of rich and creamy texture with plenty of strawberry flavor in every single bite. I served it for the girls with a side of strawberries and after they decided to top their bagels with the strawberries I served them, I realized it made the perfect combo of creamy and sweet!

Since we all have different breakfast schedules, I usually lightly toast a batch of bagels when I wake up in the morning and then just spread the bagels with the Tillamook cream cheese spread and top it with chopped strawberries whenever everyone is ready to eat. We also topped it with bananas ones and the girls said it tasted like a strawberry-banana smoothie but better.

Getting prep-work done for meals before the kids wake up is seriously a game-changer. It’s such a simple task that doesn’t take more than a few minutes but when school days are hustle and bustle, it makes it so much easier to get the kids served and out the door right on time.

You can pick up Tillamook Cream Cheese Spreads at select Walmart stores.
