Gift ideas: Wooden toys for toddlers

While I get the girls each specific toys so they can have something for themselves, I also like to incorporate toys that can be gifted to the both of them. Rather than buying an abundance of plastic toys, I like to choose high-quality wooden toys that will last them for years, and can be passed down later down the road. After all, less is more, right? I put together a list of my favorite wooden toys from Maisonette.  They have a bunch of wooden toys for all age ranges and I like to include a mix of toys for toddlers and also some big girl stuff so Ari can still feel challenged.

If I had to pick a one must have toy for any kid, it would be a wooden train track (which is why I included two options on our list this year). I bought one for the girls last year and they still continue to play with it. I purchase an activity table from Pottery Barn and have bins under where they can store their train pieces. Ari loves pulling out the pieces and assembling a different track each time, while Nati enjoys pushing the trains on the track. It’s great for all age ranges and I even get lost playing with them sometimes!
