The best photo spots at Disneyland & CA Adventure

We just came back from our second Disney trip of the year and over the past few weeks so many great photo spots have popped up at Disneyland, California Adventure AND Downtown Disney!

We all know that Disney photos are one of the best part of your trip so I rounded up some of my favorite photo spots throughout both parks and where to find them.

Disneyland

It’s a Small World

One of the most popular Disneyland photo spots is the “It’s a Small World” wall. You’ve probably seen it all over Instagram. I like this spot because the light hits perfectly and it’s a neutral background so perfect for showing off outfit shots.

You’ll also want to snap a photo in front of the ride while you are there. Best timing for photos here would be in the morning, since the sun hits pretty strong in the afternoon.

Toon Town

Toon Town is my personal favorite spot for photos, there’s literally a photo opportunity everywhere you look. They also just added a new wall for the 90th celebration!

Fantasyland

The teacups are another classic shot. Take advantage if the ride is down for a clean and colorful shot of the ride.

The castle

Rather than waiting in line for a shot in front of the castle, head to right side of the castle for a “side shot.” This is a lot cleaner and you’ll avoid hundreds of people walking behind your photo.( Note that the castle is currently being refurbished.)

California Adventure

Pixar Pier

Make sure you add Pixar Pier to your list of photo opps. If you plan on getting a photo in front of the ferris wheel, sunset pictures come out amazing. There’s also a ton of fun walls that make for fun photos too.

Hollywood Land

Right behind Monsters Inc. you’ll find some more colorful Disney themed walls. This is one of my favorite spots. They seem to change the wall every few months and they are always a hit.

Downtown Disney

With all of the construction going on in Downtown Disney, the parks have put up some more fun character-themed walls. You’ll find Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Donald as a part of the 90th celebration!
